2,5-Thiophenedicarboxylate: An Interpenetration-Inducing Ligand in Uranyl Chemistry
نویسندگان
چکیده
Seven uranyl ion complexes have been crystallized under solvo-hydrothermal conditions from 2,5-thiophenedicarboxylic acid (tdcH2) and diverse additional, structure-directing species. [UO2(tdc)(DMF)] (1) is a two-stranded monoperiodic coordination polymer, while [PPh3Me][UO2(tdc)(HCOO)] (2) simple chain with terminal formate coligands. Although it also monoperiodic, [C(NH2)3][H2NMe2]2[(UO2)3(tdc)4(HCOO)] (3) displays an alternation of tetra- hexanuclear rings. Two-stranded subunits are bridged by oxo-coordinated NiII cations to form diperiodic network in [UO2(tdc)2Ni(cyclam)] (4), but homometallic sql assembly built [Cu(R,S-Me6cyclam)(H2O)][UO2(tdc)2]·H2O (5), which the counterion hydrogen bonded only. Diperiodic networks hcb topology formed both [Zn(phen)3][(UO2)2(tdc)3]·2H2O·3CH3CN (6) [PPh4]2[(UO2)2(tdc)3]·2H2O (7). The slightly undulating layers 6 crossed oblique columns weakly interacting counterions polythreading-like fashion. In contrast, larger curvature 7 allows for three-fold, parallel 2D interpenetration occur. These results compared previously reported cases polycatenation uranyl–tdc2– system.

Here we are making some predictions based on three methods: a straightforward extrapolations of the existing trends; a self-fulfilling prophecy; and picking some current grievances and predicting that they will be addressed or solved. We predict the growth of multicore computing and dramatic growth of data, as well as the improvements in force fields and sampling methods. We also predict that e...
متن کاملPeriplasmic Expression of TNF Related Apoptosis Inducing Ligand (TRAIL) in E.coli
Tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL), a member of TNF family, is an interesting ligand which selectively induces apoptosis in tumor cells and, therefore, it has been developed for cancer therapy. This ligand has been produced by various hosts such as E.coli. However, protein expression in E.coli cytoplasm leads to problems such as incorrect folding, reduction in biolo...
متن کاملUranyl sequestration: synthesis and structural characterization of uranyl complexes with a tetradentate methylterephthalamide ligand.
Uranyl complexes of a bis(methylterephthalamide) ligand (LH(4)) have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. The structure is an unexpected [Me(4)N](8)[L(UO(2))](4) tetramer, formed via coordination of the two MeTAM units of L to two uranyl moieties. Addition of KOH to the tetramer gave the corresponding monomeric uranyl methoxide species [Me(4)N]K(2)[LUO(2)(OMe)].

Molecular farming has been considered as a secure and economical approach for production of biopharmaceuticals. Human TNF Related Apoptosis Inducing Ligand (TRAIL) as a promising biopharmaceutical candidate has been produced in different expression hosts. However, little attention has been paid to molecular farming of the TRAIL in spite of numerous advantages of plant expression systems. Theref...
